Animal testing

Today, animal testing is virtually indispensable in medical research, yet at the same time it is highly controversial from an ethical standpoint for many people. But what does working with and on animals actually look like in reality? Since when has animal testing been used at all, what legal frameworks and strict regulations apply to it today, and what alternatives are available to us now or in the future?

This Wednesday, we’ll be addressing these very questions and are pleased to welcome Jana Wilken from the “Tierversuche verstehen” information initiative of the Allianz der WIssenschaftsorganisationen. She’ll provide insights into the current state of science, law, and ethics and will be available to answer our questions.
Come join us, bring your questions and thoughts, and join the discussion.

As always, everyone is welcome. So just pop round and get to know us. We look forward to seeing you!
