God and Faith
Some Wednesday evening’s in the semester we focus on discussing issues of faith and religion, rather than political or other societal questions. The evenings start in small groups where we think about questions leading up to the bigger issue of the day. Afterwards, there is a small presentation by our student priest, which will again raise questions and lead into a discussion. Because what do we believe personally? God & Faith-evenings will offer the possibility to reflect, share and discover personal faith and the beliefs of fellow students here at the KSG or the church as a whole.
Some topics of the last semesters where:
- Conscience: What it is and how it relates to personal faith?
- Advent: What exactly do we prepare for in this time leading up to Christmas?
- The Old Testament: Is it still relevant for our faith today?
- Evangelization: Outdated or happening every day?
Do you have an interesting religious or philosophical topic that you want to discuss? Talk to our student priest or the student leadership group (GL). We would love to discuss it here.
God & Faith-evenings take place on Wednesdays (like other regular weekly Wednesday get-togethers). We start with supper at 6:30pm and hold an evening prayer at 7:30pm before we begin the thematic part at 8:00pm. Join at any time during the evening, best at the times mentioned above.
