This is the website of the Catholic student community Thomas More in Leipzig.
We are a young and lively student community in the heart of Leipzig. Every week, there are numerous events in which you can take part in, get to know other students, and discuss questions of faith or other current societal events.
Every Sunday, we celebrate Holy Mass in our chapel named after a Catholic priest and critic during the Nazi era, Alojs Andritzki. After Mass, we have lunch together in the KSG rooms only a few meters away from the chapel. Everybody is invited! Every Wednesday, we have get-together where we invite speakers from different fields of science and society to discuss various topics including political, environmental and religious issues, past and present. After these inputs and/or discussions, we end the evenings in our basement bar, where we have more room to talk, dance or engage in a game of football.
Besides our community meetings on Wednesday, we have a choir, morning prayers (Lauds), community service events, an international evening, a sports team and hold shared activities with the other Christian student groups in Leipzig.
We would love to welcome you and are always looking forward to meeting new people! So swing by and convince yourself!
