Theme Night: Local Politics
Roads are being renovated, new construction projects planned, and culture promoted—much of what shapes our daily lives in Leipzig is decided right here in our city. But how exactly does local politics work? Who makes these decisions, and how can you get involved in such committees?
Through their dedication and engagement in discussion, local politicians actively help shape life in our city. This isn’t just about big issues, but often also about very specific questions arising from the everyday lives of citizens.
At this themed evening, we’d like to engage in a conversation with Tomasz Petersohn, who serves on the district advisory board in eastern Leipzig. He’ll give us insights into his work, describe his path into politics, explain how decisions are made at the local level, and more.
Feel free to stop by, ask your questions, and discover how politics works right here in our community.
As usual, the evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner together, followed by evening prayer and the theme evening itself.
As always, everyone is welcome, whether for dinner, the discussion or both.
So just drop by and get to know us. We look forward to seeing you!
