The topic of environmental protection accompanies us every day. Instead of driving the car, you prefer to take your bike, plastic bags are replaced by cloth bags and maybe you prefer to order the vegetarian kebab at the snack bar around the corner. But the issue is not only growing in your own private household. The Paris Climate Agreement and the Fridays for Future demos can also be found regularly in the media. But did you know that there is an activist Christian group of its own? What position does the church actually take when it comes to climate protection? And what has Christian faith to do with environmental protection anyway? These and many other questions will be answered next Wednesday in our themed evening "Christians for Future - environmental protection in everyday church life". As speakers, we look forward to Andreas Dohrn, pastor of the Peterskirche Leipzig and Edith Wittenbrink, social ethicist and activist at Christians For Future. It starts at 8 p.m. on Zoom!
