Time out 2021

„Open up“. This year’s Rauszeit takes place under this motto. On Friday, June 25th we want to start the weekend at 7 p.m. with a prayer on Zoom, together with all KSGs of the RAK area. On Saturday, June 26th, we will meet at 9 a.m. for breakfast in the KSG and then set off on a hike, which will be accompanied by impulses and times of exchange. At the end of the day we will meet again at 8 p.m. on Zoom.

Well, get pleasure? Then get in touch by Wednesday, June 23rd via rauszeit@ksg-leipzig.de or directly to Sister Christa or Doro. All you need is a drinking bottle, an empty lunch box for the picnic, a mat to sit on and possibly a swim suit.

Harvest camp Romania

The harvest camp is a trip by the diocese of Dresden-Meißen with the aim of supporting farmers in Transylvania (Romania) who are suffering severely from rural exodus in agriculture. We want to leave early on August 25th and will be back in Leipzig on September 2nd in the evening. In addition to the agricultural work, there will be a spiritual program, the opportunity to get to know the country and its people and to live in community with the other students. We will be accommodated and fed by the local helpers in the guest house.

Estimated costs: around € 70-80.

Hiking retreats

Would you like to go out on vacation and relax a little? From September 6th to 11th we will start our hiking retreat, which is based on the spirituality of Ignatius of Loyola. The route leads us through Saxon Switzerland in daily stages – don’t worry, you don’t have to be a professional hiker or have particularly good stamina. During the retreat we will spend stages of silence as well as times of exchange and the opportunity for personal conversations. Sister Christa Baich and Pastor Oswald Scherer will be present as pastoral companions.
